About Mama’s Asian Noodle House
Located at 4787 E McKinley Ave, Fresno, CA 93703, Mama’s Asian Noodle House operates as a thai restaurant serving Fresno in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Best pad Thai I've ever had, easily. Perfect sauce, great noodles, toppings are just right, never found any that compares. Everything else I or my friends have ordered has been good too but the pad Thai is my go to. Staff are always super friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is lively but not overwhelming.

I’ve been coming to Mama Asian Noodle House since they first opened, but I’ve noticed some changes lately. When they first started out, the food was incredibly flavorful. The papaya salad and larb really stood out with that bold, punchy seasoning you hope for. However, over my last few visits, it feels like the kitchen has been a bit off. The flavors aren't hitting quite the same way they used to, and that vibrant, authentic spark seems to have faded a little. The service can also be a challenge. While the staff is generally efficient, they seem to struggle when the restaurant gets busy. If you go during a peak time, be prepared to wait; it can take quite a while for someone to get to your table or check in on you once you're seated. Overall, it’s still a decent spot, but I really hope they can get back to that high level of flavor and consistency they had in the beginning.

First picture is Thai boat noodle soup 🍲 — rice noodles topped with steak slices 🥩, pork belly, meatballs, and fresh veggies 🌿. The broth is deeply flavorful, carrying a bold mix of spice 🌶️ and tang 🍋 that keeps your tongue dancing while making it impossible to stop slurping 😋. A splash of pork blood 🩸 enriches the umami and gives the soup its deep reddish-brown color. It’s hearty and robust — maybe a bit heavy for some — but I found it absolutely satisfying. Second picture is crispy pork belly 🐖, with tender, juicy layers of fat and lean meat inside, and an ultra-crispy skin on the outside. The skin was just a touch overdone for my taste, making it harder to chew, but here’s the trick — let it soak in the boat noodle broth for a bit. Once softened and infused with the soup’s flavors, it transforms into a perfect balance of crunch, savoriness, and melt-in-your-mouth tenderness ✨. Tastiness: 8 Price Appropriateness: 8.5 Portion Size: 8.5 Overall Experience: 8.5

This small restaurant is the perfect gem for amazing food. Small dining off about 8/9 tables but it's really all you need anyway. You almost have to search for places like this to get the most authentic Asian dishes. We ordered the KaSoy, mixed meat (chicken, pork, beef) pad Thai at no extra charge for combo meat, eggs over rice and the pork belly. No other comments needed, the server was cool n chill. Look at the photos and go eat. Looks like the photos you see. It's great stuff

Food was great and staff were friendly. They accept cards here but charge a 3.5% fee. No extra charge for cash though. Thai boat has a good spice flavor so ask for less peppers if you are not into that kind of thing.
